Plastcom SLOVASTER® B1 GF 45 PBT, 45% glass fibre
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT); Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), 50% Glass Fiber Filled

Material Notes: PBT for injection moulding, chemically reinforced with 45% glass fibre. Characterised by excellent properties also at minus temperatures like eg. modulus of elasticity in tension and bending, tensial strength, toughness. Does not absorb water, that means that identical properties are maintained also in wet environment. Melt is characterised by very good rheology, which enables manufacturing of extremely multiple products with complicated downflow-path. Anisotropy of shrinkage is much better in comparison with PA, what influences the manufacturing of round, cylindric or other hole products. Application in the automotive, electrical and engineering industry - connectors of cable harnesses, car-door locks, connection links, grips etc. Delivered in natural mode and in the full RAL colour scale.

Packaging, transport, stocking

The product is packed in hermetically closed thick-walled 25 kg PE bags, on a 1.000 kg palette coated in a stretch foil, in big bags with a thick PE foil fixed on a 1.000 kg palette, in paper octabins with a thick PE foil fixed on a 1.000 kg palette or in other packaging according to customer requirements. The transport is provided in closed-up vehicles where the material is protected against movement and mechanical damage. The product requires stocking in closed-up, dry places protected against sun and thermal radiation.
