Celanese Celanex® 4302HS PBT, 30% Glass Reinforced
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT); Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), 30% Glass Fiber Filled

Material Notes: Celanex 4302HS is a 30% glass reinforced PBT designed for improved mold flow, warp resistance and surface appearance. Celanex 4302HS is ideally suited for heat shock applications such as ignition coil housings and coil-on-plug housings. Celanex 4302HS als
To avoid hydrolytic degradation during processing, CELANEX resins have to be dried to a moisture level equal to or less than 0.02%. Drying should be done in a dehumidifying hopper dryer capable of dewpoints <-40°F (-40°C) at 250°F (121°C) for 4 hours.
For subsequent storage of the material in the dryer until processed (<= 60 h) it is necessary to lower the temperature to 100° C.

Information provided by Celanese Corporation.

Key Words: 30% glass filled, heat shock resistant, hydrolysis resistant
