Sandvik C6N 6% Nickel Binder Cemented Carbide, Seal Grade  (discontinued **)
Categories: Ceramic; Carbide; Metal; Metal Matrix Composite; Nonferrous Metal; Tungsten Alloy

Material Notes: Sandvik seal grade C6N has been developed to meet the high demands to solid carbide seal rings in the pump industry.

This Sandvik corrosion resistant cemented carbide grade is especially recommended for applications requiring high performance in corrosive environments.

Features:

  • 6% nickel and 94% tungsten carbide with medium grain size
  • Good resistance to corrosion – particularly in aqueous solutions – due to the nickel binder
  • Good wear resistance
  • High toughness
  • Application: SANDVIK grade C6N is recommended for all-round performance where corrosion resistance and at the same time good wear resistance are required (PH range >3).
