Borealis HF955MO Polypropylene Homopolymer for Injection Molding
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP); Polypropylene, Molded

Material Notes: HF955MO is a high modulus polypropylene homopolymer. HF955MO is especially developed within the proprietary Borstar technology. The grade utilizes the unique Borstar reactor design capabilities for high crystallinity polypropylene production in combination with the specific Borstar nucleation technology. This combination gives HF955MO an unique balance of properties for high speed injection molding technology allowing fast cycle due to high de-molding temperature as well as reduced cooling time.

HF955MO is designed for fast production of articles for packaging and houseware. Examples include containers and products with medium to long flow lengths, houseware goods for ambient temperature use, rectangular and flat products, caps and closures with integral hinges, and products with thicker wall sections requiring short cycle time.

Former trade name for this product was Bormod™.
