Eastman M30036-P Polyethylene  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE)

Material Notes: M30036-P is an extrusion coating performance polymer suggested for applications requiring performance similar to LLDPE. Compared to low density coating resins, M30036-P offers superior heat seal strength, as well as improved tensile strength, tear resistance, ESCR and abrasion resistance. Typical applications include laminates for nylon balloons, food pouches, cheese bags, potting soil bags, and hard-to-hold juice cans.

Information supplied by the manufacturer.

Eastman Chemical Company sold its polyethylene business to Westlake Chemical Corporation in Dec. 2006. This grade no longer appears in the Westlake product line.
