Wacker Wacker® TD SHEEN II Silicone Fluid Emulsion
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone

Material Notes: Product description: TD SHEEN II is an oil-in-water emulsion of an aminofunctional polydimethyl siloxane. TD SHEEN II is stabilized by nonionic emulsifiers. Therefore, combination of TD SHEEN II with other emulsions is facilitated in many cases.

Application: TD SHEEN II can be used best in auto care products, e.g. tire shine and vinyl conditioners. In tire shine and vinyl conditioner applications both gloss level and water resistance are improved. TD SHEEN II is especially useful for the making of vinyl conditioners. Due to the polar amino functions of the emulsion’s active, the protective conditioner film adheres extremely well to the substrate surface which results in that gloss and depth of image are retained for a longer period of time.
