Ensinger SPI

Ensinger Tecatron® XP-83 Compression Molded PPS Compound, Filled with 10% PTFE, 10% Graphite and 15% Carbon Fiber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)

Material Notes: Ensinger Special Polymers has over twenty different grades of TECATRON PPS available. Custom formulations can be blended to suit specific applications. Compression molding is amenable to short run production and yields products which are homogenous with low process stress.

TECATRON PPS is a highly crystalline high-temperature thermoplastic with an excellent balance of cost, temperature resistance, strength, chemical resistance and flame retardance. TECATRON PPS is often used when long-term high-temperature performance and dimensional stability are a must, even in the presence of aggressive chemicals.

Applications:

  • Fuel Injectors
  • Manifolds
  • Pumps
  • Pistons
  • Gears
  • V-Packing Gaskets
  • Bearings

Information provided by Ensinger Special Polymers, Inc.
