Solvay CYCOM® 5216 Epoxy - Woven Aramid Fiber Prepreg

Material Notes: CYCOM® 5216 is a 200 – 250°F (93 – 121°C) curing, modified epoxy resin. Service temperature range is -67 to 180°F (-55 to 82°C). This prepreg is manufactured by hot melt processing and is virtually solvent-free. Typical applications include rotorblade spars and skins. Aramid reinforced CYCOM 5216 has application in helicopter structure, rotorblades and high impact resistant laminates. Available in unidirectional, woven and, on special order, roving forms; also with carbon and glass fiber.
