Synthos SE PB 5800-Schkopau Low-CIS Butadiene Rubber (BR)

Material Notes: Composition: SE PB 5800-Schkopau is a low-cis butadiene synthetic rubber. It is produced by anionic solution polymerization adjusted for a high level of linearity. SE PB 5800-Schkopau is translucent to white in appearance and contains a non-staining stabilizer which complies with compositional requirements of the food packaging regulations of European countries and the USA (Trinseo may be consulted regarding applicable regulations).

Application: SE PB 5800-Schkopau is used to manufacture High-Impact Polystyrene or ABS, supporting grafting processes with its content of reactive vinyl-groups.

Synthos acquired the synthetic rubber business from Trinseo in 2021.
