Material Notes:	Description: Apcoflex® NX146 is a cold polymerized, medium ACN containing carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene terpolymer. It contains non-staining antioxidant. Applications: Addition of Carboxylic acid groups to the main chain backbone of Nitrile polymers provides excellent Tensile and Abrasion Properties. Apcoflex® NX146 is having low percentage of Carboxylic acid groups and is having excellent resistance to Abrasion and Wear. It is highly recommended in the manufacture of Textile Cots and Aprons, Rubber Rollers, Conveyor Belts, Hose Covers, Oil well drilling parts, Footwear components etc. . Working with Carboxylated Nitrile Polymers requires special compounding considerations. Customary Peroxide or Sulphur cures used in conventional rubbers react identically with the butadiene network of these rubbers. However, metal oxides such as ZnO, metallic salts and Amines can form secondary cross-links using the Carboxylic acid groups. CAS No,: 9003-18-3 Information provided by Apcotex Industries Limited
