Neoprene coated aramid fabric combines the following properties: Neoprene has a very good resistance to water, cold oils, aging and chemicals. Good resistance to sunlight and weathering. Good mechanical properties. Neoprene® has excellent flame resistance. Limitations: It has low gas permeability and average electrical performance. Aramid is a fiber consisting of a long polyamide chain containing amides and aromatic elements. It is infusible, does not melt, does not burn, does not soften and has low toxic gas emissions. Some aramids can decompose around 500°C, thermostable up to 250°C. Applications: - High temperature filtration
