Material Notes:	Description: Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PW is a powder version of Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PL100. It is a processing additive for polyolefins, which will reduce melt fracture, extrusion torque, and die buildup and lower extrusion pressure more economically and effectively than other processing additives. The unique properties of Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PW help to keep a die surface clean. This prevents buildup of other formulation contaminants that eventually require machine shutdown and die cleaning. With Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PW, the length of time between cleaning will be greatly extended. Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PW has improved chemistry that resists interactions with other formulations ingredients. It is a superior choice for making combined masterbatches with pigment or antiblock. Unlike some processing additives, Viton® FreeFlow™ SC-PW will not have any adverse effects on surface properties of the finished products. Advantages: Improved processing additive efficiency, particularly on dies where frequent formulation changes are made Extended running between die cleaning Excellent resistance to interactions with antiblock, stearates, pigments, etc. Improved performance in combined masterbatches with pigments Powder form where this is required to meet plant feed needs Simplified analytical procedures for quality control Package in bulk for ease of handling Fully approved for food contact applications Improved economics Information provided by manufacturer. Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including the Viton product line, in 2015. This specific grade had been discontinued prior to the spinoff.
