| Description: Y Y-25X should be added to the pigment grind and maintained at or above the minimum activation temperature for a minimum of 15 minutes. Y-25X has no maximum activation temperature. Paints containing mostly aliphatic or straight aliphatic solvents require a minimum activation temperature of 110º F. Application: Y-25X paint additive imparts excellent anti-settling properties without significantly increasing package viscosity in solvent-based coatings. Y-25X may also be used to increase sag resistance in a wide range of coating formulations. Suggested applications for Y-25X are primers (especially zinc rich primers), high solids systems, and product finishes. As Y-25X anti-settling additive contains no water, it is safe for use in metallic pigmented systems.
