| Product Description: Akroform Pb3O4/EPR/P is a 90% dispersion of Lead Tetraoxide ("red lead") in ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR). Applications: Red lead is primarily of use as an acid acceptor in epichlorohydrin (ECO/CO) and Polychloroprene (for good water resistance). 5 phr is the typical loading for acid acceptance in ECO. Up to 20 phr is used in low water swell polychloroprene. Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated chemical dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant.
