Material Notes:	Product Description: AKROWAX 5030 is a proprietary blend of microcrystalline wax and a high melt-point paraffin wax. It is designed for maximum protection of rubber articles exposed to high ozone levels at elevated temperatures (as in an ozone test chamber). Akrowax 5030 will also produce a very durable wax film that will resist "rub-off" due to its good flexibility. Typical loadings are 2 to 4 phr in a normal application; 4 to 8 phr in highly loaded compounds. Preferred wax for nitrile elastomers. This wax complies with F.D.A. Regulations for use as indirect or direct food additives described in Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Chapter 1, Section 172.886 and 178.3710 as well as 177.2600, Rubber Articles Intended For Repeated Use.
