Material Notes:	A soft, black, specialty thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) in the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) family. It complies with NSF 61 for plumbing applications in contact with potable water and has physical properties that meet ASTM F 477 for high head pipe seal applications. This grade of Santoprene TPV is shear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplastics equipment for injection molding or extrusion. It is polyolefin based and completely recyclable. Excellent resistance to compression set. Recommended for applications requiring excellent flex fatigue resistance. Recommended for applications requiring excellent ozone resistance. Complies with NSF Standard 61: Piping System Components for Drinking Water. Designed for application in ASTM F 477 high head pipe seals. Information provided by Advanced Elastomer Systems
