AdvanSix Capran® 1200MT Bi-Axially Oriented Nylon Film
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA)

Material Notes: Capran® 1200MT is a bi-axially oriented nylon film. It is a versatile and robust film that satisfies many packaging needs, and has superior resistance to oils, fats, hydrocarbons, and many solvents. It is also microwavable, making it an excellent choice for lidding stock. 1200MT film has a metallized coating that provides an effective barrier to oxygen, helium, and water vapor.

Applications: message balloons as well as food packaging requiring high barrier.

Former Honeywell product; AdvanSix is a spin-off of Honeywell.
