Dow Nucrel® 925 Ethylene-Methacrylic Acid Copolymer Resin

Material Notes: Nucrel® 925 is a tough, lightweight, easily processed ethylene copolymer resin. This resin is inherently flexible without the need for plasticizers. The resin can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Nucrel® 925 has excellent tensile strength and low temperature impact properties.

Typical Applications:

  • Footwear
  • Powder coating
  • Wire and cable
  • Metal coating
  • Injection molding

Features:

  • Good adhesion to metal and polar substrates
  • Good mold flow to reduce molding cycle time
  • Can be cryogenically ground into a powder
  • Low specific gravity-lightweight
