| SV0157 is one of the styrenic terpolymer (ABS) grade with improved toughness versus HIPS grades. SV0157 exhibits low shrinkage, and good dimensional stability.SV0157 has high melt strength, so is widely used for the production of extruded sheet and some of considerable size and thickness shaped. Applications: include panels for large appliances and thermoformed items such as hot tubs, recreational vehicle parts and refrigerator liner. use this information as a guide to aid you in selecting the proper resin for your application. Drying: Drying prior to processing is recommended in a desiccant dehumidifying hopper dryer. An inlet air dew point of -20°F (-29°C) or below is recommended to achieve a moisture content 0.1%.
